The VMware page allows you to configure basic connection settings. |
Display Name (required)
Enter a display name for object.
Color
Click the color picker button in the display name text box to select a color. In the User Interface settings you can configure to show the color in the navigation tree, the connection tab or as connection border.
Icon
Click the icon picker button next in the display name text box to select and assign a custom icon to the object.
Computer Name (required)
Enter one or more computer names or the IP addresses.

Click on the browse button (...) to open the Entry Editor dialog. The entry editor can be used to search for computers in your network. This connection type supports a multiple computer configuration which allows you to display data from multiple computers simultaneously. In the entry editor you can choose between creating one connection using multiple computers or multiple connections based on the settings (bulk-add). |
Use https
Whether or not to use https to communicate with the VMware host.
Description
Enter a description for the object.
SSH Port
The SSH Port is used for ad hoc Terminal connections to the VMware host.
Default port is 22.
Service Port
Configure the port to access vCenter or ESXi.
Default port is 443.
